      <image:title>About - About</image:title>
<image:caption>In 2011, a week before classes started, I dropped out of law school to start my first job as a copywriter. One of those never-looked-back kind of moments. Nearly 10 years later and now as a Group Creative Director at Google Brand Studio, I’ve worked on award-winning brand campaigns, interactive websites, documentaries and museum exhibits, helped develop the company’s data-driven approach to storytelling, made something Beyoncé liked and co-founded our Creative Fellowship for emergent talent. I’ve led collaborations with nonprofit organizations like the Equal Justice Initiative because Google should just pass the mic to Bryan Stevenson. Writing has carried me through this semi-hidden back door to the tech industry and toward a career spanning copywriting, content strategy, and now, leading dynamic creative teams. I care deeply about the narratives we’re crafting and the words we choose to connect — whether they’re showing up in a Tweet or on that Times Square billboard that manages to make people stop and look up. Tort law could never. I grew up in sunny Newport Beach, CA with the distinction of being the only first grader proudly supporting Dukakis in ‘88. I graduated from Wesleyan University where I learned about Westerns and bad ass women and I currently live in Oakland, CA where I know many. Give a shout.</image:caption>
